Chanel Mimosa is sold out and is part of their Summer 2011 Collection. I went to my Chanel counter and they had it! Woo hoo. It was meant to be. One of three colors for Chanel’s Flowers of Summer (Les Fleurs d’été), Mimosa is a shade I’m somewhat happy I chose.

Chanel Riva vs Revlon Blue Lagoon

I saw Blue Lagoon at my Walgreens and went, “Ohh…I can do a comparison to Riva!” and they have some shocking similarities. They’re both shockingly shitty with application. There I said it. I blasphemed the La Maison de Chanel. Revlon – eh. Like they care.

Despite the craptastic application, they’re both pretty colors.

Illamasqua – Stagnate and Bacterium

I love the negative names Illamasqua’s given for this collection, which happens to be for their Spring/Summer 2011 offering that is called Toxic Nature. The polish names are in sharp contrast to the beauty that these colors are!

I liked the BURN YOUR EYES orange of Gamma that I showed yesterday, but what I like most about this collection is that the other colors are actually understated. However, they are still a very pretty sight to behold. Wouldn’t you agree?

Illamasqua – Radium

I am a serious Illamasqua fan girl. Like I love the nail polish and the make-up. When I saw some of the colors from their Toxic Nature Spring/Summer 2011 collection, I had vague doubts. But I love that Illamasqua appeals to the drama girl in me, right down to the packaging. If this color doesn’t entice you to try Illamasqua, I don’t know what will.
