How could I not? This formula dried fast and dried incredibly quick. Part of her Summer 2014 Collection, Colors by Llarowe Strawberry Wine has been described as a ‘reddened magenta jelly’. It vaguely reminds me of the base for Jindie Nails’ Blood Bath and Beyond. This jelly is lovely and squishy – so much so that I had to play with another Colors by Llarowe Summer 2014 color called Opals & Lace. That is a collection of white iridescent, multi-sized glitters in a clear base. It’s delicate, but the perfect foil for Colors by Llarowe Strawberry Wine. They both look very good together, as you can see in the pictures below.
The formula for both polishes were fast drying, which was surprising because some jellies I’ve dealt with would take forever and a day to dry. It was also surprising for the glitter because most bases for glitters take some time to dry…and if you weren’t patient, then you would drag the glitter if you tried to apply another layer while wet. We’ve all been through that frustration at least one time.
For my middle finger I used 4 coats because I wanted to see how jelly this really was…it was very jelly and I as super happy! It also makes a lovely sandwich with Opals & Lace, don’t you think?
Currently the colors are sold out on the llarowe site, but be sure to follow her on her Facebook page to get updates on when the Summer 2014 line will be re-stocked.
