I’ve discovered that any polishes by Emily de Molly need to be in your stash…Emily de Molly Amazonia is a teal linear holographic polish. It’s intense and deep, so be prepared. I tried to do nail art. Epic fail. I really should just quit while I’m ahead with nail art. I don’t know why I bother.
I tried to a framed manicure…and…yeah, I’ll keep those awesome ideas to myself and in my head. From here on out, I’ll just show you the colors!
This is three coats with HK Girl Glisten and Glow Top Coat. The black I used was a nail art polish I had sitting around and now I can’t find. I suspect kitty has been jumping on my swatching/polishing table when I wasn’t here for a night last week while I was in the hospital. More about that here in case you missed it yesterday.
Two coats of Emily de Molly Amazonia was opaque, but of course, I went for a third round because I believe in overkill! They dried quickly and no complaints from me.

Someone asked me why I don’t use a light box – I’ll be honest: I don’t think light boxes truly reflect what a color is like in real life. While I think a light box can get you prettier, edgier shots of a polish, I don’t think it’s very realistic. So while my images may not be as richly saturated with jewel tones or deep hues, you are getting a real-life look at the polish in action.
