However, once again, YSL failed to nail the color to the name. If you’re going to name it after gems, you’ve got to get that shiz right. Pyrite is also known as Fool’s Gold.
This ain’t no Fool’s Gold…it is a bronze, though — with hints of gold.
Formula on this was a bit thicker than I expected. While thick, it didn’t take forever and a day to dry. The finish on this is a bit frosty and a bit metallic, so the finish looks a little messed up thanks to my application. I’m never good with things like this, so please don’t hold it against me. YSL Bronze Pyrite is still a pretty color, though.

In case you’re wondering, this is what bronze pyrite looks like…sorry, no match.
Despite the color not looking like Bronze Pyrite, I find that YSL Bronze Pyrite is still a color I like having in my collection. I have a handful of colors that could very well be close to this, but overall none of them are dupes.
