Now, this has been sitting in my untried pile for a short time. Colors by Llarowe Connie, You Saucy Minx is part of CbL’s spring 2014 collection. It’s a stunning purple crelly with an incredibly strong magenta (dare I say fuchsia?!) shimmer. I did two coats of this and was rewarded with several compliments on this during the short time I wore it. A couple from hubby, a woman at the drugstore and the Jehovah’s Witness that came knocking on my door.
Colors by Llarowe Connie, You Saucy Minx’s formula is stellar and I can’t wait to wear this again. I was tempted to do a third coat, but felt that two was adequate. The color was never truly captured by my camera and for that I am so disappointed. The shimmer is something my camera was able to secure and it did it quite well. The formula for this dried quickly with no lumps, bumps or bubbles! I love it when a polish does that. When I put on the top coat, this color became even more pronounced and beautiful – I didn’t think that was possible, but it was! The one and only downside to this polish? Girlfriend is a stainer. Yea, she stained my nails quite badly, but it’s ok. I’m due to do my mani later on this week.
