I am still going to be doing my other polishes, just interspersed with my current Colors by Llarowe stuff.
Colors by Llarowe Rizzo is a lovely baby pink, strong linear holo. I had originally bypassed this color because I felt like I didn’t need it. However, this time around, the collector in me said, “Buy it…buy eeet! Do eeet!” So I did. I’m glad I did. It’s gorgeous and very flattering on me as well. I’m surprised given that baby pinks are not really very flattering on me. This was also an extremely strong holo, which really makes this polish so gorgeous, in my opinion.
The formula is easy to apply and dries fairly fast. No streaking and is opaque in two medium coats. Extra coats won’t do anything except dry.
By the way, when I first saw the name of the polish, this awesome gal popped into my head…
In case you don’t know, this is Stockard Channing, who played Rizzo in the movie version of Grease. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time and I also have the soundtrack on my iPod. I do get a bit disconcerted and thrown off when hubby sings along with the songs. Strong, dour Scotsman singing along to the Grease soundtrack. It’s why I love him. He surprises me – in a good way.
In this shot, you can see the base color while the holo is starting to shine.
Very pretty, wouldn’t you agree?
I’ve included two shots of direct light because the color is so pretty under it. The holo is strong and linear. If you are a lover of a strong holo, this color is for you!
What do you think of Colors by Llarowe Rizzo? Would you add this to your collection? For me, this is definitely a keeper.
Thanks for making it this far. If you’ve liked what you’ve read, please share!
À bientôt!
