Emily de Molly Chasing Rainbows was a color I had heard of before, but I had never been able to procure any of the colors – it’s an Australian brand that tends to sell out at the normal stockist sites I peruse. Luckily, a nail mail friend in Australia answered my pleas and sent me a motherlode of Emily de Molly polishes. Thank you! I am keeping you our group’s secret. 😉
Emily de Molly Chasing Rainbows is what many say the original My Private Jet is like. I wouldn’t know, but I hope I do soon. 😉 Depends on how things go.
Formula was easy – two coats and it was opaque. It dried relatively quickly and I was quite pleased to actually have a self-proclaimed charcoal/black holo actually be charcoal and actually, close to black. Then the linear holo that came into play, which I was unable to catch, was a beautiful thing to behold.
If you are able to get your hands on this polish, I’d say go for it. I’d also say congratulations, too. It’s cheaper than the original My Private Jet on eBay.
As always, please right click on the image and choose Open In New Tab. When in the new tab, click on the image (it will triple in size!) to view the photo in its original size.
You can see the holo wanting to come out on the nail here in this shot – it’s glowing a bit, making the polish seem almost luminous.
You can see the holo slightly in this flash shot, on the left side of the nail.
The holo is even stronger in person than it is in the picture. This is one to have in your stash…don’t miss out on it.
