Ji shows her face as An Accidental Interloper. Ji is neither accidental, nor is she an interloper. If anything she is an integral part of this whole collection – do not let her humble polish name belie her greatness.
Scrangie makes an appearance again – her iconic, original Scrangie, sang to my heart strings. This one sings yet again, but on a much deeper level. There are four other new bloggers showing their faces and they are very popular.
Note: all of these colors were three coaters, but they dried in record time.
Rescue Beauty Lounge Blogger 2.0 is a gorgeous collection – it’s varied and has colors that will appeal to many.
Final note: This is image heavy – beware…
Hope you like my swatches!
Make no mistake – Ji is no accidental interloper.
Looks so mysterious in the shade, n’est-ce pas?
Totally gorgeous, yet subtle, understated, yet still stands out. Just like Ji!
Beautiful gray.
This macro doesn’t even begin to show you the depth and complexity of this shade.
Looks gorgeous in the shade…
…and looks gorgeous with the flash…
…but truly shines in the sun. Incredibly complex and a duochrome flash, to boot! You can see a hint of the duochrome in my middle finger shot. It was very hard to capture.
This pink is…is it pink? Is it coral? Is it a bright? I can’t decide! Can you?
This color confused and excited me. It is deceptively bright. It’s not a neon, but it’s certainly bright. So not only was it bright, but then it tipped the scales of being either an extremely bright coral. Then it was, “is it a coral? is it a bright pink?” Oh, the color quandary I was in. I love having this color in my stash.
Kellie Gonzo‘s color has a subtle glitter to it…and it’s gorgeous.
Now this was a bit of a disappointment…why? Because I felt this was a version of Butter London’s The Black Knight…
…I was wrong…so so so WRONG. Please forgive me.
…I was so very wrong.
While the glitter may be similar, to The Black Knight, but that is it. This glitter is far more tiny and more subtle. It’s tasteful and refined, yet edgy…like the creator of the polish herself. If you haven’t visited Fashion Polish‘s blog, you should. Fashion Polish done good with this creation. The base of the polish is also more pigmented than TBK – that is more of a jelly.
Blurred to show the gorgeousness.
This is a bit too warm for my skin tone, but I love the shade. Rie, over at Nails and Noms, created this lovely orange.
The orange here plays up to the subtle shimmer that is showcased in this nearly carrot shade.
Warm sunlight shot.
Subtle shimmer caught at the edge of the bottle.
Lovely mintly green…with a subtly gorgeous light blue shimmer.
You can see the shimmer better in this shot.
Lovely sunlight shot – I am digging this shade a lot.
Thank you for making it this far. If you liked what you read, please share this – sharing is caring!
