This is a cool toned lavender in some light, purple in others. You can see how it plays between the two below in the swatches that I did. Color Club Eternal Beauty did something that some of my holos don’t do – hold up well in direct sunlight. This second set of the Halo Hues collection that was released earlier this year is not as delicate as the fall collection’s.
This set is, in fact, bolder and a bit more richly pigmented that I expected. While I liked the colors in the fall line, the spring line of Halo Hues really set my heart all aflutter!
Color Club Eternal Beauty is the one stand out for me because I’m a huge lover of lavender and purple. Some lavenders are not flattering for my skin tone, but this one, like I said above seems to shift a bit in color – darker in some settings, lighter in others.
Formula was also superb – quick drying. I applied three coats because I felt like it…and it was also a test on the dry time for this particular color. Color Club Eternal Beauty actually held up well and while it did not have the super high glossy shine, I was ok with that. Top coat dulled it a bit, but not so much that you could tell.
