*purrs* Hello, lover!

This color is truly something that you’ve got to see to believe. The pictures don’t even do it justice. First off, it’s a deeper, darker color in person. Second, it really sparkles and pops, if you get the chance to see it firsthand. I am tempted to say this almost outshines #51 and #52, not quite but it really does give the two colors a good run for their money.

Look at the flashes of orange and green glitter!

Unfortunately, the sunlight totally washed out the shot, but I was also working with limited time, too. It was about to start raining and it was an extremely brief patch of sun. The shade shot definitely got the best of the two!

Rescue Beauty Lounge – Purple Haze

I’ve been on a bit of a purple/lavender polish kick lately. Not sure why…But here we go. I promised a fellow nail polish lover that I will post a picture of the purple color wheel I have, showcasing my embarrassing amount of purple polish I’ve collected.

Here is a polish on me! It’s not quite purple and it’s not quite lavender, but it’s a gorgeous shade!

Zoya – Ivanka – Sparkle Collection – Summer 2010

Part of the Sparkle collection, this lushtastic green is simply to be envied when worn. The shot in the shade best captures Ivanka’s spirit until you see it in person. Sunlight washed it out, but to be honest, I think my little camera couldn’t hold up to its beauty when put in natural light. It’s truly one of the colors you’ve got to get out of this collection in addition to Mimi and Charla.

My pointer finger and middle finger really capture what Ivanka’s all about. The color and pop is always ON. It never stops and it lasted for a good week. The *only* chipping I had was on my right hand’s index finger…and it’s only because I filed my nail down. Other than that, wear was excellent!

Sunlight washed it out and showed my deficiencies in nail polish application. Nonetheless, one color I’m going to get a back-up of because I get the feeling I’m going to be wearing this a lot during the summer – either on my toes or on my nails when I’m not swatching.

Zoya – Mimi – Summer 2010 collection – Sparkle

Such a gorgeous shade of PURPLE! LOVE LOVE L O V E it. I swatched the whole collection, but I have to put it up…sorry for the delay. I get waylaid by my other colors. I promise they’ll all be up soon.

This shot best represents the true color of this polish. You can see the awesome flecks of gold glitter. Very subtle, but overall makes it’s such a beautiful color when worn.

The sun washes out the color a bit, but makes the glitter pop. It’s stunning, yes? YES.

NFU Oh – #52

This…wow. It’s just as noteworthy as #51. Love that it’s a dark jelly with awesome glitter.

It looks purple, but it’s not. My camera didn’t capture it well. It got the glitter right, though. Words fail me on how to describe this color/polish. All I can say is…AWESOME!

NFU Oh – #51

I didn’t know what to expect when I got this and another color…and my camera really didn’t capture the true colors of this polish. It really is unique and different! The way the color looks in this picture is like an electric purple jelly, but it’s not. It’s much darker. There’s a red shimmer that runs through it and then there are big chunks of this awesome salmon colored glitter in it – this is a polish that needs to be experienced in person to fully appreciate it. This is 3 coats…I should’ve gone for four, but I really was just too excited and I wanted to take pictures.

I should’ve taken a picture of the bottle! It’s so darn cuteÂ and quite a nice change from the regular square, round or rectangular shape.

Rescue Beauty Lounge's Fall 2009 Collection: The Bloggers – Scrangie, Orbis Non Sufficit, Mismas

Last year Rescue Beauty Lounge did a blogger collection consisting of Scrangie (www.scrangie.com), Orbis Non Sufficit (www.polishaddict.com) and Mismas (www.alllacqueredup.com).

I definitely had a huge love for the colors, my least favorite being Mismas. I only say that because I encountered several purple cremes last fall that made Mismas seem a bit too common. Loved the shimmer running through Scrangie. Orbis Non Sufficit (the world is not enough) is a lovely green creme that was very flattering and not like Orly’s Enchanted Forest or Wandering Vine.

Awesome…I can’t even put it into words…I just know I LOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!
