When Ji announced Rescue Beauty Lounge Emoting Me collection, I wondered what the colors would be like. I was surprised that there were seven gorgeous colors that, to be honest, all looked good on me!

Monday, 8 August, 2011Zoya – Jules and Zoya’s Jules v Rescue Beauty Lounge’s Anne v China Glaze’s Swing Baby
Wednesday, 11 May, 2011Illamasqua – Stagnate and Bacterium
Wednesday, 4 May, 2011I love the negative names Illamasqua’s given for this collection, which happens to be for their Spring/Summer 2011 offering that is called Toxic Nature. The polish names are in sharp contrast to the beauty that these colors are!
I liked the BURN YOUR EYES orange of Gamma that I showed yesterday, but what I like most about this collection is that the other colors are actually understated. However, they are still a very pretty sight to behold. Wouldn’t you agree?
I now present
I am Perplexed that I was not able to find this color sooner.
I got a call from a BFF going, “What is that color you were looking for from Revlon? Is it called Perplex?”
Me: “OMG…YES! WHERE ARE YOU?”
BFF: “I’m at Big Lots. They have three left and…”
Me: “GET THEM ALL. DO YOU HEAR ME? GET THEM ALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! ALL OF THEM! I LOVE THAT COLOR. WELL, I DON’T KNOW IF I WILL LOVE THAT COLOR, BUT I WANT THEM ALL ANYWAY!”
BFF: “Ok. Stop yelling in my ear. They’re a dollar each.”
Me: *faints*
I got the package 2 days later. Yay for NAIL MAIL!! Thank you, Karen! Thank you, thank you!!!
MAC Earthly Harmony
Tuesday, 1 February, 2011This color was part of MAC’s F/W 2010 Nail Trend collection. I wasn’t too enamored with the color in the bottle…Then I put it on me. It was, in short, GORGEOUS! I loved the faint copper/bronze shimmer/glitter in it. It saved this shade from being a typical creme greige of the season.
However, I ruined the mani.
See how I did it!
