However, that is not a bad thing at all. I love bright polishes, although somehow my skin tone manages to dull the brightness of most neons/bright polishes. I still think this could be brighter, but again, I think my skin sucked the life right out of KB Shimmer Blinded By the Bright.
This was three coats because I got all…crazy. LOL I wanted to see how it would fare and what the dry time would be if I pushed it to the limit. KB Shimmer Blinded By the Bright did exceptionally well! I’m also wearing KB Shimmer’s quick drying top coat, too.
As always, please click on the image which will double in size…then click on the image again (it will triple in size!) to view the photo in its original size.
Awesomely bright macro is awesomely bright.
I swear this could be brighter, but my skin does bad things to good colors.
Flash shot shows the beauty and the slightly green undertone of this color – which is why it looks so flattering on me, despite my skin’s ability to make it look dull and lifeless!
Sunlight shot mutes this color ever so slightly, but it still is vibrant.
Would you get this color? I think colors like this are super fun in winter – it chases away those blahs.
Someone asked me why I don’t use a light box – I’ll be honest: I don’t think light boxes truly reflect what a color is like in real life. While I think a light box can get you prettier, edgier shots of a polish, I don’t think it’s very realistic. So while my images may not be as richly saturated with jewel tones or deep hues, you are getting a real-life look at the polish in action.
Thank you for making it this far. If you liked what you read, please share this – sharing is caring!
